The Outdoor Research Collaborative for Health, Wellbeing and Experiential Engagement (ORC) was created in order to expand and include diverse uses of the outdoors and experiential practice which are not limited to adventure therapy.
Hence, we aim to build a collaborative that includes Researchers, Practitioners and other key stakeholders. Being an ORC Collaborator does not mean that we agree with each other about different topics, needs and issues in the field. Being a collaborator does mean we share our thoughts and perspectives within this community in a transparent, curious and collaborative manner that moves the field forward through critical dialogue grounded in mutually respectful relationships.
